Essay Contest

To view this email as a web page, go here.

Each year, our "We the Students" essay competition gives high-school students from across the U.S. a chance to share their perspectives on a trending topic.

This year, we’re asking students to consider what role the government should play in monitoring internet content and we are awarding $20,000+ in scholarship and prizes to the winning essayists, including:
  • 1st Place – $5,000 and a scholarship to our 2018 Constitutional Academy in Washington, D.C.
  • Runners Up – Six prizes at $1,250 each.
  • Honorable Mentions – Eight prizes at $500 each.
Please encourage your students to sign up below and submit their 500-800-word essay before February 5, 2018.

Sincerely,

Christopher Janson
Marketing and Communications Manager
