BigSun Scholarship

The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to continue to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. We are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in.

 

Deadline               -     June 19, 2018    

Amount of Award  -        $500.00

 

The successful applicant will be a high school senior or be attending a post secondary institute and currently involved in some sport at that institution or in the community..

Virtual College Fair

Success in college for high school students starts today Today we host another free virtual college fair that is perfect for high school juniors and seniors. Some 80+ schools are conducting live chats and experts will be giving advice on how to ace the SAT/ACT, stand out in the Common App, finish the application process, and more until 10 PM ET tonight. When your students visit 5 college profile pages on CollegeWeekLive during the event, they'll automatically apply for our $1,000 event scholarship, our $5,000 Fall 2017 Semester scholarship, and they'll also be entered for a chance to win Amazon and Starbucks gift cards.

FAFSA Night

NMSU Is hosting a FAFSA Night on November 14. 

5-7 pm 

Hardman Jacobs Hall Computer Lab

TWO scholarships will be given away just for coming and filling out the form.

KUDOS to YOU senior teachers and advisory teachers as we had about 100 families represented last night for the LCHS FAFSA Night. Excellent turn out. 

Fast Fact

We had 244 seniors apply on October 11 to NMSU/DACC! Great Job to senior teachers and senior advisory teachers!!
